Summary
Users of CLNZ’s e-learning modules are asked to provide the following data:
- Your name and email address
- Your user type, which determines the type of content that will be displayed in the module
- Your institution’s name, except where you choose the secondary school or PTE organisation types
In addition to this data, your login date, IP address, and whether or not you have completed your chosen module, is always recorded. Moodle will place a cookie on a user’s computer to simplify log-in. Our e-learning modules also contain Google Analytics code; information collected using this code is anonymous.
By providing this data to CLNZ you understand that you have provided consent to us to provide e-learning services to you, and that CLNZ has a legitimate interest process your personal data to provide these services to you. We will not further process the data in ways that are incompatible with the initial purposes for which the data was collected.

- Request a copy of your data
- Request an amendment to your data
- Request removal of your data from our system, although with the consequence that we will be unable to provide you with further e-learning services
Your data will be deleted from our system automatically two years after your most recent login.
Information on children under 13
CLNZ does not knowingly collect or maintain personally identifiable information from persons under 13 years of age, and no part of our site is directed to persons under 13 years of age. If you are under 13 years of age, then please do not use or access this site at any time or in any manner. We will take appropriate steps to delete any personally identifiable information of persons less than 13 years of age that has been collected on our site without verified parental consent upon learning of the existence of such personally identifiable information.
